no me

The more there is a 'me', the more there is someone to suffer.
'Me' is the name of our resistance to life,
of our constant angling for satisfaction.
It is precisely that 'me' which fears death,
The idea of being someone
with something to lose -
attributes, reputation, family, security, safe territory.
Who is the 'me' that is suffering?
Who dies?
